Honeymoon...a peek

We didn't do the beach thing nor did we sail off on some cruise. Instead, we headed to the slopes of Mount Kenya and got cosy. The cool weather on the mountain, had as gravitate towards well lit fires and/or force us under the covers!

Our host, Melia van Laar, at Castle Forest Lodge, made our stay very comfortable. It was a beautiful place and we had an opportunity to "take-it-all-in". We found ourselves staring at each other, barely beleiving that we had actually gotten married.

Like the starway to "heaven", our time at Castle Forest Lodge was peaceful.

The cottages at Castle Forest Lodge... hint hint, there is no Castle at Castle Forest Lodge... :-D

Blessings and heartfelt Congrats!!!

Oh Tindi, by your marriage you have enlarged your circle of LOVE, & that’s wonderful for the entire world. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your new life through this blog. May joy increase unceasingly as you and Andy journey through life together--loving, supporting, partnering, empowering one another. I bless you just as you bless your families (now one family), friends, communities, nation and the world.

Seeing the pics of you up at Mt. Kenya made me miss the area especially the central highlands. I can’t wait to return to Kenya. Can’t wait to see you face-to-face. Andy’s walk reminded me of my trek to Wli Falls in Togo, unlike you Kenyans we Americans are NOT walkers.

As I celebrate your marriage, know that I hold you in Love, light & prayer. Affectionately,
Diane W
